2018 What's Your Elephant Call for Art

Requirements:
- Submit up to 5 digital images representing your work.
- Submit donations of $35 (Goes towards the cost of production.  Any artwork sold goes 100% to the artist)
- Any special accommodations needed, please email the curator no later than August 10th. 
- All work must be original artwork and ready to be displayed.  
- Artwork must include a short narrative that will be displayed with work

About the gallery:
1310 Gallery rotates monthly art exhibitions, film screenings and art happenings since 2008. Because each exhibition is administrated by a different resident artist, there is a diverse array of media and talent throughout the year.  Our exhibitions have been featured in The Sun Sentinel, City Link, New Times, Home Ft. Lauderdale, the Miami Herald, and on NPR.  There is 3 floors & 2500 square feet of gallery space.  The gallery is open by appointment in addition to the Opening & Closing receptions.  

Terms & Conditions:
Submission & payment indicates that you agree to all that is outlined in this prospectus as well as the following: If selected, 1310 Gallery & Niki Lopez has your permission, without restriction, to use submitted images, and represent your work in advertising as well as other promotional materials. By submitting an entry form to this exhibition you constitute an agreement with 1310 Gallery & Niki Lopez with all conditions as stated above in this prospectus.

No work that is accepted to the exhibition will be withdrawn before the close of the exhibit. Artists must leave the landscape and environment exactly as they found it. Permanently altering the landscape or environment is prohibited. This includes but is not limited to any form of damage to the landscape or building.

Indemnification:
The ARTIST shall protect, defend, reimburse, indemnify and hold Whitespace, The 1310 Gallery & Niki Lopez its agents, servants, employees and elected officers harmless from and against any and all claims, liability, losses, expense, cost, damages and/or causes of action of every kind or character, including attorney’s fees and costs, whether at trial or appellate levels or otherwise, which may arise from any and all acts or omissions of the ARTIST during the performance of the ARTISTS's service under this Agreement.

The gallery is monitored by security cameras on each floor. The gallery is open by appointment in addition to the Opening & Closing receptions.  

I understand that the submission donation is not a guarantee of inclusion in the exhibition.
